The MULTICOOK Program
MULTICOOK can be used for cooking any meal of your choice with your own time and temperature settings. The REDMOND 280E, featuring the MULTICOOK program, will be able to replace a whole range of kitchen appliances. Now either an old family recipe or any recipe found online can be adjusted for your multicooker.
Temperature settings of the program range from 35°C to 170°C.
STEAM/COOK is for steaming fish, meat, manti, dietary dishes, vegetarian cuisine and children’s food. It also cooks vegetables, meat, fish, poultry and other foods.
SOUP/BEANS is a program for vegetables, meat, fish and various beans.
STEW is for stewing vegetables, meat, poultry, and seafood.
OATMEAL can be used for cooking various types of oatmeal using milk.
YOGURT/YEAST DOUGH can be used to make homemade yogurt and proof yeast dough.
PAELLA/RISOTTO is recommended for making paella, risotto, other rice and grain dishes as well as various side dishes.
BAKE is a program recommended for baking biscuits, pudding, pie, puff and yeast pastries.
FRY for frying meat, fish, vegetables, poultry, and seafood.
RICE/GRAIN is recommended for cooking oatmeal with water and for preparing side dishes.
PASTA/RAVIOLI is for making dumplings, noodles, sausage and other semi-finished products.
HOMEMADE BREAD is for baking white and wheat-rye bread. The program includes a proofing cycle before it is baked.
The REHEAT Function
With the help of this function you can warm up the meal even if it has just been taken out of the fridge.
The KEEP WARM Function
The 280E features a function of keeping the meal warm, which is switched on automatically at the end of a program. However, we recommend using this function moderately, because prolonged thermal exposure may dry out your meal.
KEEP WARM Disable
This useful function allows you not to spoil foods such as yogurt, pastries etc. by overexposed heat on the KEEP WARM program. Now you can conveniently turn off the KEEP WARM function before the end of the cooking process.
The TIME DELAY Function
With the TIME DELAY function, you can set the program to start with a delay of up to 24 hours. Your meal will be ready for an early breakfast or by the time you come back from work.
